1st-Mile Institute, active since being established in 2006, has been reorganized in 2013 as a fiscally sponsored program of the New Mexico Community Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable organization.

1st-Mile Institute now stewards two primary programs:

New Mexico "Broadband for All" (NM-BBFA)

Scientists/Artists Research Collaborations (SARC)

If you are interested in New Mexico broadband related issues, you may want to consider subscribing to the 1st-Mile-NM email list (see link in the navigation sidebar).
